It's one of those days (or - Mike's paranoia).
I can't find anything, I'm fat fingering the keyboard, I poured my coffee on a very important document,
the copy machine is streaking everything, I can't get a dial tone on the fax machine, my keyboard is sticking,
the light in my cube burned out, then my pen ran out of ink, my wife called cause her car didn't start, the battery
in my new cell phone died in the middle of a very important call, I'm fifteen minutes late for a meeting that I am
supposed to be leading for an important client, my word document that I have spent two hours on just disappeared,
the phone is ringing on two different lines, and now my monitor is flickering and there is someone standing in my cube
who demands my attention. So I stand up to talk to him and step in my trash can, which is now sticking on my boot.
My mouse only works if I keep banging it on the desk every two minutes, the school's secretary is calling me,
to come soon for one of my grand kids, who is going to blow up the chemistry room and there is no one else
available and that reminds me my wife who is still waiting for me, the tech support team is flooding me
with emails about a job that I created four years ago that has worked perfectly until today, of course,
and now it is suddenly using all the CPU cycles on the server and they want to know why, NOW!
My mechanical pencil just ran out of lead, I accidentally unplugged my headphones while the
volume was up and Lincoln Brewster was really cooking on "Everybody Praise the Lord",
I dropped my pencil under my desk and banged my head hard enough on the way up,
to make myself seeing stars, my new shirt got caught on a sharp edge on my desk
and was ripped down one sided. An unknown dog out of the street is going
to make the skyline of my garden looking like the Rocky Mountains.
And now, here you are, wanting to know where the web page,
that you are looking for disappeared to. I don't know.
Some Possible Causes For This Error Will Be:
We're hiding everything from you... ,
Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle,
Server / Programm needs some
service, update or repair.
It's all a conspiracy.
Incorrect spelling,
Ancient curse,
Bad luck or,
maybe:
the file doesn't actually exist.
hmmm...
If you send me an email and tell me the page's name you were looking for, I will search for it just as soon
as I can and do my very best to make it work just as soon as the fire department arrives here to estinguish
the fire, that started when I was jiggling the monitor plug and my computer sparked and started smoking ...
